Overview

The Emergency QR Code is a unique scannable code linked to your emergency card. When scanned by a smartphone camera, it opens a public web page displaying your configured emergency health information -- no app download or login required. This is designed for scenarios where you cannot communicate (unconscious, severe injury) and a first responder needs immediate access to your critical health data.

How the QR Code Works

Unique Hash -- Each citizen's emergency card has a unique 64-character hash code. The QR encodes a URL like: citizen.sehafile.com/emergency-card/public/[hash]
No Login Required -- Anyone scanning the QR sees the public emergency card page instantly. It loads the health information you have configured to be visible.
Real-Time Data -- The public page always shows your current information. If you update your medications or add an allergy, the scanned page reflects the change immediately.

Accessing Your QR Code

Open Emergency Tab -- Tap the "Emergency" tab in the bottom navigation.
View QR Code -- Below the card preview, your QR code is displayed. It is automatically generated when your emergency card is first created.
Save to Phone -- Tap "Save Image" to download the QR code as an image file to your phone's gallery.
Print -- Tap "Print" to print the QR code. Consider printing it as a wallet card or attaching it to a medical alert bracelet.

Regenerating Your QR Code

When to Regenerate -- If you believe your QR code has been compromised or you want to invalidate the old link, you can generate a new one.
Tap "Regenerate QR" -- This creates a new unique hash and invalidates the previous QR code. Anyone with the old code will see a "Card not found" message.
Update Physical Copies -- After regenerating, remember to reprint or reshare the new QR code with family members or on your physical medical ID.

Tip: Print your QR code and keep it in your wallet, on your phone case, or on a keychain tag. In an emergency, paramedics look for medical alert items on your person.
