Health Profile & Personal Information

Manage your personal health information, emergency contacts, and profile photo

3 min read

Overview

Your Health Profile is the foundation of your SehaFile account. It contains your personal information, medical identifiers like blood type, and emergency contact details. Keeping this information accurate ensures that clinics can properly identify you and that your emergency card displays the correct data for first responders.

Viewing Your Profile

  1. Open Profile Page -- Tap the "Profile" tab (person icon) in the bottom navigation bar. Your profile page displays your name, avatar, and a menu of health sections.
  2. View Personal Details -- Your name (Arabic and English), date of birth, gender, and birth governorate are displayed at the top. These are derived from your National ID and cannot be changed manually.

Editing Your Profile

  1. Tap "Edit Profile" -- On the profile page, tap the edit button to open the editable form.
  2. Update Blood Type -- Select your blood type from the dropdown: A+, A-, B+, B-, AB+, AB-, O+, or O-. This field is critical for your emergency card.
  3. Set Your City -- Enter your current city of residence. This helps clinics in your area find your records.
  4. Add Address -- Enter your full address in the text field. This is optional but useful for home visit services.
  5. Set Occupation -- Enter your current job title or profession. Some occupational health records may be relevant to your medical history.
  6. Emergency Contacts -- Add one or more emergency contacts. For each contact, provide:
    • Name -- The contact person's full name
    • Phone -- Their mobile number
    • Relation -- Your relationship (spouse, parent, sibling, friend, etc.)
  7. Upload Avatar -- Tap the camera icon on your profile picture to upload a new photo. Accepted formats are JPG and PNG.
  8. Save Changes -- Tap "Save" to update your profile. Changes are reflected immediately across all SehaFile services.

Tip: Your primary emergency contact (the first one in the list) is displayed on your Emergency Card. Make sure this person is someone who can be reached 24/7.

Warning: Name and date of birth are extracted from your National ID and cannot be edited. If there is an error, contact SehaFile support with your official ID document.
