Overview

The Waiting Room Display is a full-screen digital queue board (QueueBoard component) designed to be shown on a TV or monitor in your clinic's waiting area. It shows patients their position in the queue, which doctor they are assigned to, and the current patient being served. The display updates in real-time as patients are called in, reducing reception desk inquiries and improving the patient experience.

Setting Up the Display

Open the queue display URL — Navigate to your clinic's queue display page. This is a dedicated full-screen view accessible from the dashboard or at a special URL.
Connect a display device — Use any TV, monitor, or tablet with a web browser. Open the URL and switch to full-screen mode (F11).
Configure display options:
- Show patient names — Toggle whether full names or only file numbers are displayed (for privacy)
- Show doctor names — Toggle doctor assignment visibility
- Display language — Arabic, English, or bilingual
- Auto-refresh interval — Queue updates automatically via WebSocket, no manual refresh needed
The display is now live — It shows today's queue with color-coded statuses: waiting (blue), in-progress (green), completed (gray).

Tip: For privacy-conscious clinics, display only the file number and first name initial. Patients can identify themselves without exposing full names to the entire waiting room.

Does the display require a special device?
